Do you love pop culture? Video games? Entertainment start-ups and entrepreneurs? Then ITHACON 45 is the perfect place for you!
The School of Business is again excited to host ITHACON 45 live from April 23 to 24 in Emerson Suites and Williams Hall. ITHACON, the nation’s second longest-running comic convention, will roll out its 45th edition of celebrating pop culture, fandom, and comics for enthusiasts of all ages.
There will be activities for everyone to enjoy including cosplay, gaming, panel discussions, screenings and live model sketching. The exhibition hall features collectibles, artwork, card games and crafts. The Annual Cosplay Runway will again be held Emerson Suites on both Saturday and Sunday.
The School of Business offers this unique course, the only one of its kind in the country, as part of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation minor, to provide hands-on opportunities for students to learn how to plan, promote, manage and analyze a trade show. "These skills are especially important for entrepreneurs and start-ups," said Instructor Ed Catto.
Tickets are on sale now at ithacon.org/IthaconTickets. Attendees who buy tickets before April 20, will receive exclusive ITHACON swag bags at check in. Special ticket prices are available for IC students, faculty, and staff.
