Graduating seniors Ariyahna Bernard and Maia Noah will present at the 13th Annual Political Science Conference at SUNY Oneonta

Congratulations to graduating seniors Ariyahna Bernard and Maia Noah on the acceptance of their brilliant research papers for presentation at the Thirteenth Annual Political Science Conference at SUNY Oneonta, on Friday, April 29th, 2022.  

Ariyahna and Maia conducted their research through the Politics department’s advanced course on “Research in Politics, Policy and International Relations” taught by Professor Peyi Soyinka-Airewele. Maia will be speaking on “The Ongoing Afghan Refugee Resettlement Crisis: An examination of the most critical needs for refugees transitioning to life in the United States,” while Ariyahna will be presenting a paper titled “Lion, Tigers and Bears, and Reindeer and Bobcats, Oh My! A Comparative Study of the Wildlife Tourism Industry in Selected Communities”.
