Please join your colleagues for an open discussion about the faculty affairs (faculty only), including faculty workload, reductions to benefits, and other issues. We will meet on Tuesday May 3rd at the Friends 203 at noon hour (12:10-1pm).
This is a space for faculty to have open and in-person conversations at a moment when many of us feel that the college has moved in a very difficult direction. We think it is important to acknowledge that our work conditions and situation have changed dramatically over the past few years. This conversation builds on our past discussions and hopefully moves us to some concrete steps to voice the collected concerns.
We believe that any productive conversation avoids focusing on individual decision makers but rather should focus on policies that have had a negative impact on faculty, students and their education, and the long-term viability of Ithaca College.
