Walter Chon (Theatre Arts) publishes his Korean Translation of A Manifesto for the Future Stage in The Korean Theatre Journal

Walter Byongsok Chon, Assistant Professor of Dramaturgy and Theatre Studies in the Theatre Arts Department, translated “A Manifesto for the Future Stage,” developed at MetaLAB (at) Harvard, into Korean.

His translation is published in the summer issue of The Korean Theatre Journal.

The Manifesto's key themes include performance as a human right, architectures that promote connectivity, expanded concepts of liveness, sustainable models of touring, a rethinking of streaming not as fallback option but instead as expressive medium, and the need for new institutional and fiscal models.
