As the college continues to consider the best ways to align reporting and organizational structures in furtherance of the goals of the Ithaca Forever strategic plan, the following adjustments in administrative operations have been made, effective immediately.
- Intercollegiate Athletics and Campus Recreation, led by associate vice president and director Susan Bassett ’79, has moved from the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life to the Office of the President.
- Career Services, led by director Dave Curry, has moved from the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life to the Division of Marketing and Enrollment Strategy.
- Tutoring and Academic Enrichment Services, led by manager Yolanda Clarke, has moved from the Office of the Provost to the recently established Center for Student Success and Retention within the Division of Marketing and Enrollment Strategy.
- Student Accessibility Services, led by manager Ian Moore, has moved from the Office of the Provost to the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life.
Each of these changes will help ensure that synergies, both within and between programs, are leveraged to their maximum potential to enhance the opportunities for student success. The college thanks the staff in these programs for their flexibility and the continued excellence of their work on behalf of the college.
