Earlier this summer, Dr. Daisy Rosas Vargas was featured on an episode of Chemists in the Kitchen by LabxNAS. Daisy took this opportunity to represent underrepresented chemists and do science communication on common chemistry found in the kitchen. The episode is about why chilies are spicy and what can we do to tame that spiciness. The episode also features Robin Mays, a chemical engineer and Matt Hartings, an associate professor of chemistry at American University.
