Piano Performance Faculty and Students Return from International Festival

Dmitri Novgorodsky, Associate Professor of Music Performance,  traveled with 4 Piano Performance students from the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance to take part in Music Fest Perugia, the largest international music festival for young musicians in Italy. The annual summer festival emphasizes providing performance experience, particularly with orchestra, as well as exposure to outstanding professors from all over the world. Professor Novgorodsky performed a solo master recital and taught students from around the world .

Two students from Professor Novgorodsky's performance studio at IC (Qilei Huang '23 and Zhuoqing Yang '23) and two graduates from the studio of Dr. Charis Dimaras (Alexei Aceto '21 and Michael Blum '22) were also at the festival, taking lessons with festival faculty and performing, in solo recitals and with orchestra.
