Is There Really a Constitutional Right to Abortion?

A talk by Craig Duncan, Legal Studies Coordinator and Professor of Philosophy at Ithaca College

This talk will explore the foundations for a constitutional right to an abortion presented in Roe v. Wade (1973). It will also explore the current Supreme Court’s rejection of those foundations in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

This talk is offered by the Ithaca College Legal Studies Program in conjunction with the 2022 Constitution Day (9/17/22).
