Interviewers Needed for PA Program's 2022-2023 Admission Cycle

By Amal Abdullah, September 19, 2022

The Ithaca College Physician Assistant Program invites IC faculty and staff to participate in conducting virtual interviews for the PA Program's 2022-2023 admission cycle.

The goal of the admission process for the Ithaca College Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program is to recruit, select, and retain highly qualified diverse applicants. Balanced consideration for experiences, attributes, and academic metrics is employed during the admission process.

Interviews (45 minutes each) will be held via Zoom from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (ET) on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, November 1, 2022
  • Wednesday, November 2, 2022
  • Thursday, November 3, 2022
  • Monday, November 7, 2022
  • Tuesday, November 8, 2022
  • Wednesday, November 9, 2022
  • Thursday, November 10, 2022
  • Monday, November 14, 2022
  • Tuesday, November 15, 2022 (morning only)

Each interview team will be comprised of a PA program principal faculty member and an IC faculty or staff member.

Interviewers will be required to complete an interviewer training session, which will be held virtually on October 20 at 1:00 p.m. (the session will be recorded for those unable to attend).

If you are interested in conducting interviews, or have questions, please contact Amal Abdullah, Admissions Coordinator, at paadmissions@ithaca.edu.

The ARC-PA has granted Accreditation-Provisional status to the Ithaca College Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program sponsored by Ithaca College

Accreditation-Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, if fully implemented as planned, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program's ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding Accreditation-Provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students. Accreditation-Provisional does not ensure any subsequent accreditation status. It is limited to no more than five years from matriculation of the first class.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Amal Abdullah at paadmissions@ithaca.edu or 607-274-7007. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
