LGBT History Month Continues

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Month is celebrated in October. In observance of LGBT History Month, the LGBT Center Website will feature videos highlighting different historical figures who made a difference in the LGBT community. Visit the LGBT Center website's LGBT History Month 2022 section to find a new video each day of October. Here are some figures who will be highlighted in the coming days. 

  • October 11th: Nancy Cárdenas, Mexican Writer and Activist
  • October 12th: Kitty Cone, Disability Rights Activist
  • October 13th: Robert Cutler, National Security Advisor
  • October 14th: André De Shields, Actor and Singer
  • October 15th: Lea Delaria, Comedian and Actor
  • October 16th: Anna Elizabeth Dickinson, 19th Century Orator
  • October 17th: Masha Gessen, Russian-American Journalist
  • October 18th: Ron Gold, Gay Pioneer
  • October 19th: Radclyffe Hall, English Author
  • October 20th: Bell Hooks, Author and Feminist
