Learn advanced techniques to operate the Grass Valley Karrera video switcher

ICTV is hosting Advanced Technical Directing workshops on Tuesday 10/18 and Friday 10/28. For those wanting to attend the workshops, it is highly recommended they have some previous technical directing experience or completed an Intro to Technical Directing workshop (earlier this month). The workshops are being led by Thomas Kerrigan, ICTV's Director of Technical Operations.

The workshops are scheduled for the following dates and times in the Park School's Studio A:

Tuesday, October 18th
Sessions #1: 4:00 - 5:30 PM

Friday, October 28th
Session #2: 3:00 - 4:30 PM

The Advanced Technical Directing workshops will build off the skills taught in the introduction sessions. Again, it is highly recommended those attending have some previous technical directing experience. The workshops will cover advanced functions of the Grass Valley Karrera switcher including Chroma Keying, Macros, using E-MEM's to save ME presets to fly cameras in and out, 2DPM's and eDPM's.

If you're interested in joining one (or both) of the workshop sessions, please fill out this Google Form.

Please direct questions about the workshops to Thomas at techoperations@ictv.org.
