Self-Defense Workshop Open to All Students!!

Join the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management for a three-hour self-defense workshop on October 19th at 4:00pm!

Participants will have an opportunity to develop a foundation of self-defense and situational awareness skills. The first element of the workshop involves educating participants in basic principles, like understanding the physiological effects of the body, risk reduction, and how to create and maintain distance in the event of a confrontation. The second element of the workshop involves hands-on training for technique development. The workshop is being offered as part of the Student Leadership Institute! Register here!
