Some people come from out of state to visit the Friends of the Library Booksale in Ithaca, but it is just 3 miles from you on campus, right around the corner from Purity Icecream and Ithaca Bakery! Prices go down each of three weekends in October (and again in May), and they have a special student night with prices between 10c and $1 for most everything. This Wednesday, 4-8pm is student night!
What do they have? Books, of course, but also maps, travel guides, graphic novels and comics, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, games, blank books, cards and more. They start with around 250,000 items -- that's why people come from out of state! This is huge! -- and are continually bringing out things from storage that did not fit on the shelves in the first week.
This is an Ithaca institution, and something you might not want to miss. Grab some friends and check it out!
