Who is Staff Council?
- Comprised of elected staff members who represent fellow staff.
- Each member typically serves a two year term and communicates with constituents in their respective area.

What does Staff Council do?
- Collects concerns, feedback, and suggestions from staff to distribute to key players, e.g. HR.
- Do you have a concern? You can submit them in the following ways:

- Email staffcouncil@ithaca.edu
- Fill out the Request for Staff Council Action form
- Do you have a concern? You can submit them in the following ways:
- Creates community among staff by sponsoring or organizing events
- Community Art Show
- Step Challenges
- JED art events
- Bi-annual Blood Drive (in partnership with American Red Cross student club)
- Veterans Day Celebration
- Collaborates with other committees on campus
- Tri-council
- Faculty/Staff Benefits Committee
- The staff council executive committee is often contacted to seek out staff nominations for various committees
Get Involved:
- Attend a meeting (every second Thursday of the month) as a non-voting guest
- Communicate with your representative, provide feedback—ask questions!
- Nominate yourself to become a staff council member representing your area (elections are coming soon!)
- Participate in events sponsored by Staff Council (e.g. Art show, Step Challenges, and more!)
