The School of Business is proud to welcome back Chris Patton ‘04, who currently oversees Global Marketing Operations at TikTok, an incredibly popular social media video app available in 40 languages worldwide. In 2020, TikTok surpassed 2 billion global downloads, and was ranked the most popular website in the world in 2021. An experienced marketer and project manager, Chris will emphasize the power of relationships in her career journey and the importance of networking, mentorship, and building partnerships across continents. 

Chris attended Ithaca College on a Founder’s Grant scholarship, where she studied Business Administration and Economics and interned at Ogilvy. Chris was then hired at Ogilvy as a full-time project manager. Following her three-year stint at Ogilvy, her roles included VP of Production at Mr. Youth, Director of Production at Redscout, and Production and Project Manager Consultant at Google, among others. Chris has been at TikTok in Global Marketing Operations since 2020, where she oversees teams across the world.  Chris has extensive experience in digital and integrated marketing, creative strategy, and project management across cross-functional teams.

The event will take place in the Carl Sgrecci Classroom, room 111, in the Dorothy D. and Roy H. Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise on Friday, November 4th, 2022. It is hosted by the School of Business and the Office of Career Services, with co-sponsorship by the IC chapter of American Marketing Association. All students are welcome to attend.
