Safety Message from Public Safety

By Elyse Nepa, November 1, 2022

Dear Campus Community:

The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management has received multiple reports of vehicles being entered on campus and in some of those instances, items were stolen. Public Safety wanted to take the opportunity to remind the Ithaca College community to be vigilant in protecting themselves and their belongings to aid in crime prevention. As a reminder, please secure all of your valuables in your residence hall room, locker, or vehicles.

We encourage our campus community to immediately report any criminal or suspicious activity to Public Safety at 607-274-3333 or utilize a Blue Light phone, emergency phone, or the Rave Guardian app. An anonymous voicemail tip can be left for Public Safety at 607-274-1060

Public Safety is committed to promoting campus-wide safety in a participatory manner that advances community collaboration, input, and support. The partnership of our community members will always be crucial to our shared success and the collective safety of our campus.

As always, we are only a phone call away, and available 24/7/365.

Stay safe and look out for each other!

Sincerely,

Public Safety
