Momentum: An Evening of Dance Premieres

The Center for Theatre and Dance presents Momentum, an evening of dance premieres, features three distinct works choreographed by the College's full-time dance faculty. In Letters we Keep, choreographed by Amy Walker O'Brien, dancers explore letter writing to reveal breathtaking stories expressed through the body. In Fugue State, choreographed by Aimee Rials, the contrast and connection between classical composition and movement is explored. Guests Only, set to live music from the Center for Music's Jazz Ensemble, and choreographed by Daniel Gwirtzman, is a vibrant merging of music and dance. With something for everyone, the evening shifts in mood from the emotional, to the abstract to the theatrical.

Friday, December 2: Opening Performance, 8pm

Saturday, December 3: Matinee, 2pm

Saturday, December 3: Evening Performance, 8pm

Sunday, December 4: Closing Matinee, 2pm
