Banksy: A New Play with Music by Lorde

Join us in the Clark Theatre (located in Dillingham Center) this Saturday, December 3rd at 5pm for a staged reading of BANKSY, a reimagined telling of the origin and life of the world’s most famous unknown artist. BANKSY follows the story of an all-female crew of young street artists, who team up with 24-year-old Banksy and her chief rival to stop the conservative Prime Minister and his right-hand man from pursuing policies  harmful to women. The crew pull off increasingly intense stunts, rallying the English people to oppose these dangerous political forces. As Banksy and her friends continue speaking truth to power through their artwork, they soon find out that England faces an even bigger threat than they imagined. Directed by two time Tony Award nominee Denis Jones, this developmental workshop is sponsored by the Ithaca College Center for Theatre and Dance.
