“Research on Work-Life Balance as Social Sustainability: The Role of Organizations in Advancing Gender Equity” in EBSCO Pathways to Research: Sustainability

Congratulations to Dr. Christine Bataille, Associate Professor of Management and Dr. Margaret Shackell, Associate Professor of Accounting, who recently published " Research on Work-Life Balance as Social Sustainability: The Role of Organizations in Advancing Gender Equity” in EBSCO Pathways to Research: Sustainability.

With a push towards environmental sustainability in organizations, we cannot forget social sustainability. We review the literature on work-life balance, work-family conflict, and gender equity. We argue that when organizations assist their workers in achieving work-life balance through gender equity, we will realize true social sustainability.
