Nathan’s 2018 book, Demographics and The Demand for Higher Education, examines how recent demographic shifts are likely to affect demand for higher education. His most recent book, The Agile College, provides examples of how proactive institutions are grappling with demographic change. Nathan earned his BA from St. Olaf College and his MA and PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago.
