Rachel S. Thaler Concert Pianist Series presents Eric Lu

The Rachel S. Thaler Concert Pianist Series, bringing free concerts of world-class talent to the Ithaca community since 1991, welcomes the dynamic young pianist Eric Lu for a solo recital of Mozart, Chopin, and Schubert.

Masterclass: Monday, January 30, 7:00 p.m. in Hockett Family Recital Hall

Concert: Tuesday, January 31, 8:15 p.m. in Hockett Family Recital Hall

Concert and Masterclass are both free and open to the public.

Eric Lu won First Prize at The Leeds International Piano Competition in 2018 at the age of 20. The following year, he signed an exclusive contract with Warner Classics, and was a recipient of the 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant. Eric Lu's Ithaca performance sits squarely in the middle of a busy concert season, with dates throughout Asia, Europe, and North America, including debuts with the Boston Symphony, Chicago Symphony, and London Symphony Orchestras.
