Interested in getting more involved with Ithaca’s local community? Looking for opportunities to volunteer? Join Habitat for Humanity to gain a better understanding of the current homelessness crisis happening in our own area, and learn more about the different ways you can get involved!
Habitat for Humanity meets every other Tuesday at 6pm in Williams 211 to discuss issues such as the homelessness epidemic, the effects of gentrification, food insecurity, poverty, and discriminatory housing practices. Habitat also volunteers at local not-for-profit organizations that provide aid to those experiencing homelessness and poverty such as Second Wind Cottages and Loaves and Fishes. For more information contact ithacah4h@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you there!
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Kurt Mannick at kmannick@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
