Festivals in Focus is a brand new five-event series of public roundtables that explore the issues and debates defining the world of film festivals and the arts and entertainment industries today as they confront the Great Reset.
Roundtables on topics of significance will explore vital and urgent aspects of the workings of film festivals through moderated conversations and Q&A with distinguished panelists from Ithaca College and beyond.
The series features five events unpacking these changes with Ithaca faculty and outside guests. All programs are at 7 p.m. in Park Auditorium

This public series is housed within the Roy H. Park School of Communications. It is organized in conjunction with the 26th annual Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF), and its 2023 special theme of ‘Polyphonies.’ The series widens awareness about the unique cultural status of film festivals such as FLEFF and the opportunities they offer for shared community dialogue and debate.
