The series, which hosts 3 writers each semester—a fiction writer, a nonfiction writer, and a poet– to teach an advanced writing course and offer public readings, will be held both in person and virtually throughout the spring semester. In addition to Rajurkar, the Spring 2023 series will also welcome Sierra Leonean-American writer, educator, and researcher Yalie Saweda Kamara, and Porochista Khakpour, author of Brown Album: Essays on Exile and Identity (Vintage Books, 2020)
