Become a PAL!

The Exploratory Program is looking for PALs! 

Help out with events, talk to prospective students, and add more experience to your resume! 

If you're interested, join us at our monthly meeting next Tuesday, February 7th from 12:10 - 1:00 in Friends 207! It's the perfect way to find out what being a PAL is really like.

PAL Job Description

Exploratory Program Peer Ambassador and Leader 

The Exploratory Program aims to support its students as they explore potential academic pathways at Ithaca College. This includes hosting events such as: Destress Fest, Registration Night, Mapping Help, Ithaca Today, and other various admissions and advising events. PALs attend these events in the Fall and Spring semesters, in addition to supporting Exploring the Options faculty during the Fall semester.

Responsibilities:

− Attending monthly meetings to stay up to date on upcoming events and news

− Availability to attend at least 2 events per semester

− Must have knowledge of the Exploratory Program’s services and capabilities

− Maintain an understanding of graduation requirements and Homerconnect software

− Engaging with Exploratory Students in academic and social settings
