RLCs

Faculty and Staff Email:

Residential Life is excited to update you on how we engaged our on-campus student population this past semester. We hosted/co-hosted 356 events in the residence halls and on campus apartments, with a total attendance of 4,800 students through the Fall semester! We are looking forward to Spring 2023 and are using assessment data to inform how we are approaching student engagement in the coming year.

Residential Life values our collaborations across campus. Your knowledge and resources contribute to student’s growth while at IC. We strive to foster student growth through the creation of inclusive communities and dynamic residential experiences. If you have an area of expertise or knowledge that you would like to either collaborate on a Residential Life event or provide resources for our Residential Staff to use, please express your interest in our IC Community Collaboration Form.

Announcing the RLCs for 2023-2024:

We are also excited to share information about our Residential Learning Communities (RLCs). We have a total of 9 RLC Communities across campus. A RLC experience lets students learn, work on projects, and interact with faculty with their academic peers while also living in the same location so when it’s time for students to unwind and enjoy group social events together, they have the same built-in community.
