THE CROSSING, fresh from Grammy win, to perform at IC

Called “America’s most astonishing choir” by The New York Times, Philadelphia-based The Crossing will perform at the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance three weeks after winning their third Grammy award, for Best Choral Performance. Don't miss their concert, Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall.

The Crossing is a professional chamber choir conducted by Donald Nally and dedicated to new music. It is committed to working with creative teams to make and record new, substantial works for choir that explore and expand ways of writing for choir, singing in choir, and listening to music for choir.

The free, public concert at Ithaca College will feature new and commissioned work by collaborators Ayanna Woods, Edie Hill, Shara Nova, and more.
