Eric Reid is an original member of the Miami HEAT. He enters his 35th season of calling the action for the HEAT and is among the longest tenured broadcasters in the NBA.
Reid has broadcast 2,472 regular season HEAT games during the franchise’s first 34 seasons. Three times during his career (2017, 2018 and 2020) Reid has been named the Florida Sportscaster of the Year in voting done by his peers in the National Sports Media Association. Since 2005, Reid has won 20 regional Emmy Awards, including three for his play-by-play work.
