We Are Black Cosplay: Creation Amplified Through a Community that Cares

In fictitious multiversal worlds exists infinite possibilities for realities. Black folk across our current reality have used creativity, love, and a little hot glue to imagine narratives uninformed by white supremacy, rewriting popular lore established through comic books, cartoons, anime, and live-action shows & films to portray themselves in sci-fi and fantasy. Through storytelling, RahK will discuss the importance of community to inspire & nurture creation, Black resistance, and the healing power of play as a (reluctant) adult.
