This fall, Dave Curry, Director of the Center for Career Exploration & Development, and Suzanne Brache, Career Engagement Specialist for the Park School of Communications, each earned two industry credentials in career advising. Following the completion of coursework and an exam, they both earned recognition as Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) from the Center for Credentialing Education (CCE), as well as Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) through the National Career Development Association (NCDA).
The credentialing was the next step in the evolution of the IC Career Center’s new model of serving students, as they work towards a uniform credential for all staff who work in this capacity, to better serve the students and alumni of Ithaca College.
