By Mish Lenhart, February 23, 2023

The 20th annual Women in Leadership Experience (WILE) will occur on Saturday, March 25 in Seneca Falls, New York. The retreat offers a tradition of networking and engaging conversations among the participants, exploring the perceptions of progress for women, including a look at challenges that different generations and identity groups have faced, and how influences of past and present women leaders can shape your future.

Who is this retreat for? This retreat is open to all Ithaca College students who are interested in learning more about the historical experiences of women in leadership and how to cultivate women in leadership in the future. This retreat counts as three Leading in a Diverse World sessions in the Student Leadership Institute.

What are the logistics of this event? This day-long program will feature a visit to the Women's Rights National Historic Park and Museum, a series of activities and discussion sessions, and prominent women leaders sharing their own experiences. This year's theme is Peace and Love through Activism! Lunch, transportation and all retreat materials are included. There is no fee for attendees. The bus will leave Ithaca College at 9:00am and return to campus at 6:00pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

How do I sign up? Participants are confirmed on a first-to-register through this form on IC Engage. Space is limited to 40 participants, so students are encouraged to submit their registration early because we expect this retreat to fill and registration to close by March 1!
