In today's complex and mediated world, what are the rules and legalities regarding free speech, false or offensive speech, and the First Amendment - and how might the rules on campus differ from general legalities in the U.S.? How do those issues play out in journalism, including student-produced news? What are the regulations on campus regarding protests and hosting controversial speakers? And what resources are available if you feel targeted by false or offensive speech on campus?
