Three IMC student teams have been selected to advance to the semi-final round of the Washington Media Scholars Media Plan Case Competition, a contest that challenges students to use real-world data to design a strategic media plan based on a public policy issue.
The three semi-finalist teams are: Andrew Aarts ('24) & Julius Colon ('23); Kirsten Hamberg ('23) & Robby Zweesaardt ('23); and Claire McGinnity ('24) & Brady Spaulding ('23).
After a double-blind review of media plan submissions from students across the country, all three Ithaca College IMC student teams who entered were selected as semi-finalists! In the next round, they will compete for a chance to win the National Media Excellence award, an all-expenses-paid networking trip to Washington, D.C., and $18,500 in scholarships. The students' competition advisor is IMC professor Lisa Farman.
Congratulations, and good luck to all three IMC teams in the semi-finals!
