Dr. David Earll (Assistant Professor of Tuba/Euphonium) recently returned from a busy tour of performing and teaching in Israel. This tour included recitals, masterclasses, lessons, and clinics at the Israel Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv, the Petach Tikva Conservatory of Music, the Afula Conservatory of Music, the Givatayim Conservatory, and with the Israeli Defense Forces Wind Orchestra.

Beyond his work as a soloist and clinician on this tour, Dr. Earll also collaborated with several tubists who live and work in Tel Aviv. Many of these locations were in collaboration with Avital Handler, the principal tubist of the Tel Aviv Opera Orchestra, and his final concert of this tour was a large-scale collaboration of works for solo tuba, tuba duo, tuba trio, and tuba quartet. He shared the stage with Avital Handler, Haim Mazar (Tubist, Israel Police Band), and Yuval Avni (Tubist, Israeli Defense Forces Wind Orchestra) in an exciting final concert on January 24.
