Ithaca College will have some alterations to the typical services and resources available to individuals remaining on campus during Spring Break. Please be aware that many areas will have more limited hours and/or will be closed during the period of Saturday, March 11, through Sunday, March 19. As a reminder, the college will be fully closed on Monday, March 13, in observance of the Spring Break for employees.
Please keep reading for more information on the various campus support resources that will have altered availability. Be aware that this list may not encompass every area that will have altered availability during the upcoming week. For more information on a particular service or office that is not listed, please visit their website and/or contact that office directly.
Ithaca College Dining Services
Ithaca College Dining Services will have significant updates to its hours of operation beginning Friday, March 10, and extending through the upcoming Spring Break week.
Campus Center Dining Hall
The Campus Center Dining Hall will be closed for dinner service on Friday, March 10, and will remain closed throughout the Spring Break week. Operations will return with the resumption of classes on Monday, March 20.
Terrace Dining Hall
The Terrace Dining Hall will have operations until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10. The Terrace Dining Hall will be closed Saturday, March 11, through Saturday, March 18. Operations will resume with dinner service from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 19.
Campus Center Express
The Campus Center Express will be closed Saturday, March 11, through Sunday, March 19.
IC Square Food Court and Ithaca Bakery
The IC Square Food Court and Ithaca Bakery locations will have limited hours of operation during the Spring Break week. Both locations will have limited hours on Tuesday, March 14, through Friday, March 17. The IC Square Food Court hours of operation on these days will be 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., while the Ithaca Bakery will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Both locations will be closed Saturday, March 11, through Monday, March 13, as well as Saturday, March 18, and Sunday, March 19.
Additional Retail Locations
Retail dining locations including the Business School Café, CHS Café, Library Café, and the Park Café will be closed for the entirety of Spring Break week from Saturday, March 11, through Sunday, March 19.
Ithaca College Food Pantry
The Ithaca College Food Pantry will continue to host regular hours during the Spring Break week. The IC Food Pantry is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Fitness Center
The Ithaca College Fitness Center will have augmented hours for Spring Break week, beginning with an early 2:00 p.m. closure on Friday, March 10. The Fitness Center will remain closed Saturday, March 11, through Monday, March 13. The Fitness Center will be open for limited operations between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, through Friday, March 17. It will be closed for the weekend of Saturday, March 18, and Sunday, March 19, before returning to normal operational hours on Monday, March 20.
Health Center
Ithaca College Student Health Services will be closed to all clinical appointments during the Spring Break week from Saturday, March 11, through Sunday, March 19. Clinical appointments will resume on Monday, March 20.
The Health Center can be contacted by phone for administrative questions only during normal business hours Tuesday, March 14, through Friday, March 17.
Students experiencing a medical emergency or are need of urgent clinical care during hours the Health Center is closed should refer to this webpage for more information.
COVID-19 Testing at Muller Hall
COVID-19 testing at Muller Hall will be closed from Saturday, March 11, through Sunday, March 19. At-home testing kits will be available for pick up at the testing location and can also be provided at Public Safety dispatch.

CAPS
The Office of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will have normal hours of operation during the college’s business hours and will be available for virtual appointments Tuesday, March 14, through Friday, March 17. Please note that CAPS is not licensed for virtual appointments with any student who is not currently located within New York State.
For students seeking support during non-business hours the CAPS After-Hours On-Call Service is available 24-hours per day, 365 days per year. To reach this service, please dial (607) 274-3136 and follow the prompts. This service is available to all individuals regardless if their current location is within or outside of New York State.
Campus Center
The Ithaca College Campus Center will have some reduced hours of operation during Spring Break.
The Campus Center will close at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 10, and will remain closed through the college holiday on Monday, March 13. The Campus Center will have reduced hours of operation from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, through Friday, March 17. It will then remain closed Saturday, March 18, and Sunday, March 19, before returning to normal operations with the resumption of classes on Monday, March 20.
Office of Residential Life
Please note that there will be a limited number of Residential Life staff present on campus to address lock-outs and other support requests for students approved to reside in college housing during Spring Break. Refer to the duty schedule on the entrance doors of each building for information about the Resident Assistant (RA) or Apartment Assistant (AA) covering your area of campus. The Office of Residential Life will be officially closed on Monday, March 13, in observance of the college holiday.
Students residing in campus housing for Spring Break need to complete a Spring Break Occupancy Request Form.
Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management
The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management is open 24 hours a day year round. If you are experiencing an emergency or need support from this office, you can contact Public Safety directly at (607) 274-3333.
