On Saturday, March 25, 2023, members of WICB participated in Ithaca's annual Polar Plunge at Taughannock Falls State Park in support of Special Olympics New York. WICB's team raised $410. In total, the community event raised over $101K for the organization, surpassing the fundraising goal.
Thank you to those who supported WICB's Polar Plunge team and donated to Special Olympics New York. WICB's participation and fundraising efforts were led by Parker Schug '23, the station's Director of Public Relations.
