“Young Concert Artists’ track record for spotting the best new talent in classical music is legendary.” – THE NEW YORK TIMES

The Angela and William Haines Young Concert Artists Residency was established at Ithaca College in 2019 and aims to present recent winners of the prestigious annual Young Concert Artists International Auditions on our campus once every semester.

For the Spring 2023 residency, mezzo-soprano Megan Moore will be joined by her duo partner Francesco Barfoed on piano for a concert of songs by Schubert, Miquel Ortega, Yvette Souviron, and Rued Langgaard, as well as young participants from the LYNX project, an art song organization co-founded by Moore which sets songs to texts written by nonverbal autistic youth.

Megan Moore will also give a master class on Tuesday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall.

Both the concert and the master class are free and open to the public.

For more information, including artist bios and the full concert program, see our concerts and events page.
