Starting on June 1st, Ithaca College's Office 365 email system will begin purging messages from the Deleted Items folder once they have been in that folder for 60 days. This will only affect messages in the Deleted Items folder.
This change is being made to keep mailboxes from reaching their storage limits, to align with common practices, and to avoid information from being retained unnecessarily. Outlook provides an Archive feature with a single click for those wanting to quickly retain messages outside of their inboxes.
On the small chance that you are storing messages you need in your Deleted Items folder, prior to June 1st you will need to move them to another folder, such as Archive.
