Join us to hear Alumni of Color discuss activism from the March of 1970 and Protest of 2015 on Wednesday, April 12th at 6pm in Clark Lounge (Campus Center).
In the Fall of 2019, the Center for IDEAS launched IC Voices to capture and archive the legacies of Ithaca College activists and their impact. Through an engaging multimedia discussion, panelists will share artifacts, discuss themselves, their activism, and their visions for the future.
For this iteration of IC Voices, IDEAS is collaborating with the Division of Philanthropy and Engagement & Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity (CSCRE). The discussion will be focused on “Activism from 1970 to Today: Demonstrating Action” and highlight the voices of students of color from the March of 1970 and Protest of 2015 to the current student experiences of today.
Panelists:
Steven Centeno, H&S ‘73
Treasure Blackman, HS&HP ‘22 & DPT ‘24
Matthew Wiliams, Business ‘26
