Give Back to Come Back
On Tuesday, April 25, you will have the opportunity to give back to IC and support the areas of the college that were most meaningful for and impactful to you. Not only that, but with your gift, you could win an Ithaca getaway vacation package.
There are three ways to be eligible to win one of two Ithaca vacation packages.:
- If you graduated between 2018 and 2022 and make a gift of $25 or more
- If you graduated between 2013 and 2017 and make a gift of $50 or more
- Everyone who makes a gift of $100 or more.
Gifts must be made on IC Giving Day. To enter simply go to givingday.ithaca.edu to make your gift, and then select which package you would want to win on the checkout form.
Here are the two packages to choose from:
- The “I Wish I Could Go Back to College” package – Relive your college years with a one-week stay in a Circle Apartment! You and up to five friends will get to pick a week in the month of July and stay in the premier on-campus housing option. Gift certificates to Dolce Delight and other local favorite spots will be included to help keep you fueled as you explore all that Ithaca in the summertime has to offer! Explore the natural beauty of the area with miles of hiking trails, over 150 waterfalls, and the stunning Cayuga Lake, which offers swimming, boating, and fishing. Enjoy a trip to the renowned Ithaca Farmers Market, tour award-winning wineries, or catch a local performance. Linens, towels, and basic cooking supplies will be provided. The winning donor will be contacted no later than Friday, April 28, 2023. (Please note that the week chosen must be during the month of July 2023, and selection of which week should occur no later than Friday, June 9.)
- The Stratton Creek Inn "IC My Past" getaway package – Enjoy a long weekend in upstate New York. One lucky donor will win a three-night stay for two at the Stratton Creek Inn, a one-of-kind luxury bed and breakfast, located just 15 minutes from campus, in Newfield, New York. You will stay in one of their five luxury suites surrounded by a beautiful 50+ acre estate. Gift certificates to Ithaca-area businesses will be included in the package. Date of the stay will be mutually agreed upon by the winning donor and Stratton Creek Inn. The winning donor will be notified no later than Friday, April 28, 2023. Dates can be booked up to 90 days in advance, and the stay must occur no later than Sunday, April 28, 2024.
No matter what package you choose, you will have an amazing time exploring everything the Ithaca and surrounding areas have to offer, all while supporting the IC experience and our incredible students.
