Algorithms for Change: How Social Media can Transform Climate Activism

Gen Z has become an inexplicable force for climate justice. Their use of social media has allowed them to become global citizens personifying the realities of the climate crisis. This presentation will highlight effective campaigns, persuasive communication, and intergenerational participation across platforms to mobilize environmental change.

Come and meet Daphne Frias and hear her inspirational story.  She is a youth organizer, storyteller, and peace builder. Daphne Frias is a 24-year-old youth activist. She is unapologetically Latina. Daphne has Cerebral Palsy, and uses a wheelchair to ambulate. She is fiercely proud to be a loud champion for the disabled community. https://www.linkedin.com/in/daphne-frias-2955a8208/
