Ithaca's annual literary festival, the New Voices Festival, begins its events this Wednesday, 4/26 with a reading by all seven visiting authors at Buffalo Street Books at 5.30PM. Thursday and Friday of the festival will feature panel discussions, and evening readings. Authors include the 2022 National Book Award winner, Tess Gunty (The Rabbit Hutch), memoirist Vanessa A. Bee (Homebound), essayist Mia Mercado (She's Nice Though), poet Megan Fernandes (Good Boys), novelists Sanaƫ Lemoine (The Margot Affair) and Gina Chung (Sea Change), and playwright and novelist Julia May Jonas (Vladimir).
All events are free and open to the public. Books will be sold at all evening events.
