Abigail Aitken

We're thrilled to announce that Abigail Aitken is this year's C.P. Snow Scholar! She was in attendance at John Gurche's C.P. Snow lecture and received recognition at the event.

Abigail's hybrid essay against forgetting was a judge favorite, and a very compelling example of how Abigail builds bridges between disciplines.  You can read her essay here.

Abigail is an Environmental Studies major and Anthropology major from Aspen Hill, Maryland. On campus, Abby has been involved with South Hill Apiary and South Hill Forest Products, where she is a TA assisting students in maple syrup and woodenware production. She is a proud CCE Master Composter (class of 2022) and NY State Parks FORCES Steward. Abby is looking forward to doing more work concerned with environmental justice, food justice, speculative fiction, forest ecology, and insects.
