IMC majors in our Ad Lab senior capstone course won the District 2 round of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC)!!?It was a weekend of travel to NYC, practice, stress, anticipation, and excitement. This is ICs fourth District win in the last six years! Our team was up against tough competitors on Saturday who definitely brought their A-game including George Washington University which came in 2nd place and Penn State University in 3rd place.
Since IC competes in a Mega District, its size allows District 2 to send two teams to the Semifinal round. On Friday, the District winner was St. Bonaventure University with Pace University New York in 2nd place and Syracuse University in 3rd place.
Prof. Scott Hamula, instructor/advisor of Ad Lab, stated, "I'm incredibly proud of these IMC students who worked hard and smart on their campaign by researching, ideating, and executing their creative, media, and brand activation strategies for the national sponsoring client, Indeed. Now, it's on to the Semifinal round for our team!"
