Center for Theatre and Dance's production of Shakespeare's CAESAR through April 30

The Ithaca College Center for Theatre and Dance ends its 2022-23 season with Shakespeare’s timeless drama “Caesar.” This production is directed by Catherine Weidner, professor of theatre and dance performance, with performances running select dates April 26-30.

William Shakespeare’s “Caesar” is a gripping tale of betrayal, loyalty, and political intrigue. A masterpiece of English literature that continues to captivate audiences around the world, the production promises to be an unforgettable experience that will leave you thinking long after the curtain falls.

Please be advised that this production contains haze and fog, flashing lights, and sudden, loud sound effects. In addition, it portrays historical events and staged depictions of violence, self-harm, murder, and suicide.

“Caesar” will be presented in the Hoerner Theatre in Dillingham Center for the Performing Arts on the following dates:

  • April 26 at 8:00 p.m. (Preview)
  • April 28 at 8:00 p.m. (Opening)
  • April 29 at 2:00 p.m. (Matinee)
  • April 29 at 8:00 p.m.
  • April 30 at 2:00 p.m. (Matinee)

Tickets are available for purchase online any time at tickets.ithaca.edu, or Monday through Friday from noon-5 p.m. in person at the Center for Theatre and Dance Box Office located in Dillingham Center and by phone at (607) 274- 3224.
