Please join your colleagues for an open discussion about faculty affairs (faculty only), including faculty workload, reductions to compensation, and other issues. We will meet on Wednesday May 3rd in Friends 309 at the noon hour (12:00 -12:55 pm).
This is a space for faculty to have open and in-person conversations at a moment when many of us feel that the college has moved in a very difficult direction. We think it is important to acknowledge that our work conditions and situation have changed dramatically over the past few years. This conversation builds on our past discussions and hopefully moves us to some concrete steps to work together.
We believe that any productive conversation avoids focusing on individual decision makers but should focus on policies that have had a negative impact on faculty, students and their education, and the long-term viability of Ithaca College.
