Profesor Emeritus Nancy Rader (Psychology) honored in recently published book

By Judith Pena-Shaff, May 1, 2023

A chapter covering Professor Emeritus Nancy Rader’s career and research is presented in the recently published book, Intellectual Journeys in Ecological Psychology: Interviews and Reflections from Pioneers in the Field (Routledge, 2023).

It is a great honor to have a former member of our Psychology Department included in this book. Here are some of the comments written on the volume:

This is a wonderful collection of in-depth interviews with many leading ecological psychologists, sandwiched between reflections on the past and future of the discipline (Withagen, U. of Groningen).

Reading these interviews has been humbling.  You know you are in the presence of some of the greatest theoreticians of Psychology.  The sources of their theoretical commitments and the paths their thinking has traveled through are fascinating.  More importantly, they are significant for understanding the shape of psychology as a discipline. (Reddy, U. of Portsmouth)
