Ben Hogben, Access Services Manager, and Abby Juda, Natural Sciences Librarian, gave a presentation at the annual NYSLAA conference held at SUNY Oneonta on June 8th. This presentation discussed the benefits of animal visits, as well as how to plan for an event of this type. Information was also shared on how to measure the success of an animal assisted event and considerations for the future. This presentation, postponed from 2019 due to the pandemic, was
well attended. One attendee said "I have been waiting since 2019 to hear this presentation."
