Leslie (Butch) D. McCracken, Jr., went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2023, at home of natural causes.
Butch graduated from Ithaca High School in 1976. Throughout the years, he worked various jobs. In 2007, he started working for Challenge Industries in the dish room at Ithaca College. In 2021, he transferred to work directly for Ithaca College dish room, which he enjoyed his job and co-workers. He was very proud to work there.
Butch is survived by his son Leslie (Mac) D. McCracken the III (Tivi), his mother Leila (Cortland), sister Kathy (Cortland), brother John (Angela) in South Carolina, brother Michael (Binghamton), niece Jeanie (Kevin), niece Amy (Chad), nephew Brian, nephew John (Cheryl), and several great nieces and nephews, the love of his life grandson Kaven and step grandson Mariano and June McCracken former wife.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on June 27, 2023, at Herson-Wagner funeral home at 5pm.
