The World According to Snoopy Musical Features IC Talent

Walking on Water Productions (WoW) presents their 2023 season production The World According to Snoopy!!! — a playful, energetic musical based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz that boasts bright melodies, clever lyrics, and iconic characters. A true crowd pleaser, the show is sure to delight and inspire audience members of all ages.

The show is directed and choreographed by incoming Theatre faculty Priscilla Hummel,  and the creative team includes Jaime Warburton (Writing faculty and class of '03) as dramaturg, Ainsley Anderson (Theatre Production and Management Instructor and Chair) and Andrea Mejuto ('22) on costume design. Non-IC creative team members include Em Ludek (music direction), AmarA*jk (scenic design), and Claire Chesne (lighting design). The cast includes Jack Hopkins (Acting, '24) as Snoopy, Jaime Warburton (Writing faculty, Writing '03) as Lucy, Ryan Crooker (Acting, '24) as Linus, Mia Graff (Acting, '24) as Peppermint Patty, Paul Morgan as Charlie Brown, Lisa Podulka as Sally, and Sirus Desnoes and Jessie Karlin as swings/Woodstock. The production is stage managed by Elizabeth Fresquez with Deletris Bryant (Theatre Arts, '22) as assistant stage manager. The team is rounded out by assistant to the director Nicole-Bethany Onwuka (Acting, '22), audio engineer Scott Miller , and student interns Adam Gossen (scenic/props artistry) and Jocelyn Hsu (production assistant and scenic/props artistry).

The World According to Snoopy!!! will run for two weekends from July 7-16 at Kitchen Theatre Company, located at 417 West State Street in Ithaca, NY. Performances are July 7 at 7:00pm, July 8 and 9 at 2:00pm, July 13 and 14 at 7:00pm, and July 15 and 16 at 2:00pm. Tickets are $16 for adults, $11 for students, and $6 for children; the performance on July 13 is pay-what-you-will. Tickets are available online and at the door, and seating is general admission.
